"Antex Exterminating Company Incorporated opened for business in July, 1955 by our founder, Mr.Isaac (Ike) H. O'Hanlon. "Ike" was concerned about quality, safety & his clients from day one. This concern prompted him to draft a bill, which was passed through the NC House of Representatives and the Senate. This bill made it a law that all pest control companies in NC would have to hold a valid state license. Antex and "Ike", received and still hold, the first license issued to a North Carolina pest control company. This license (101PW) has been in our company for over 50 years."
